By the endYou can say in one sentence why your person would pick your app over the others.
You now know what the other apps do and what people complain about. This step picks one thing, not ten, that makes yours worth choosing.
Ways an app can be different
Simpler: fewer screens, fewer questions, a card added in three taps.
For one kind of person: the others are for everyone; yours is for weekend sellers, or for one game's collectors.
One thing done better: the exact printing is always right, or the collection total is always on screen.
No account: it works the moment it opens.
Honest numbers: every price says where it came from and how old it is. Nothing is cut short.
Nicer to look at, or cheaper.
Pick one. "Better at everything" is not a difference; it's a wish.
For the example app: "Binder is the three-tap collection app: add a card with its exact printing in seconds, see your total on every screen, and never make an account."
Ask Claude for options
Send the message for your kind of app, then paste your notes as the next message: "Who it's for" and "Similar apps: lessons".
Collection tracker
Seller's app
Shop app
Read the five. Pick the one that makes you nod. If none does, tell Claude what's missing: "Closer to this: ...".
Write it down
In your notes, under "What makes it different", write one sentence that starts with your app's name: "Binder is the three-tap collection app: ...". Say it out loud. If it takes more than one breath, cut.
