This guide is a website you can read without an account. Here is everything it does with information about you.

What stays on your own device

• Your progress (the steps you ticked), your answers to the start questions (your phone, your computer, what you already know) and your rules from the rule picker are saved only in your own web browser on your own device.
• They never leave your device and we can't see them. Clearing your browser's data deletes them.

What we don't do

• No account, no sign-in and no email address is asked for.
• No ads, no tracking, no analytics and no cookies from us.
• We don't sell or share anything, because we don't collect anything.

Services the site uses

• Hosting: the site is served by Cloudflare. Like every website host, it briefly records technical details of each visit (such as your internet address and browser) to keep the site running and safe.
• Fonts: the letters on the page are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google to download them.
• Links to other websites (Apple, Google, Claude and others) follow those websites' own privacy policies.

If this changes (for example when accounts or the full guide arrive), this page will say so first, with a new date at the top.
