Build Your Card App Start free

Part 14 Full guide

Your owner dashboard

A private page only you can open, to run the app as a business: customers and plans, free plans and trials, revenue, bug reports with replies, live switches, health checks, writing to customers by hand, and the rule that you see accounts but never what's inside them.

Once strangers use your app, you need to see how it is doing without asking Claude to look in the database. The owner page is a private area in your web app, protected on the server, that only your own account can open. It has tabs: who signed up and on which plan, money this month, bug reports waiting for a reply, every feature switch and its live state, and a health tab that shows errors, usage and the state of each outside service in one place.

Every tab in this part came from a real need in a real build: a customer list that nobody had built, free plans that had to be given without breaking Apple's rules, a revenue number that counted refunds, bug reporters who never heard back, features that sat switched off for weeks, and an outside service that ran dry at the end of a month. Each step gives you the complete message and the check.

Two rules run through the whole part. Nothing on the owner page sends, gives or charges automatically; you look, you decide, you act, and Claude asks before anything reaches a customer. And you see account basics, never what is inside an account: that promise is in your privacy policy, and the last step makes a test enforce it. Plan a day for the first six steps and an hour each for the rest; nothing here needs a new build of the app.
