Part 11 Full guide

Extras that make your app feel premium

Optional features that make an app feel finished: search, charts, a computer version, team members, sharing in, barcodes, labels, addresses, an opening animation, Lock Screen and Apple Watch extras, Siri, in-person payments, a shop and working offline.

Your app works. This part is a menu, not a path: fifteen extras that make an app feel like the paid ones people are used to. Pick the ones your app needs and skip the rest. Nothing later in the guide depends on them.

Each step says what the feature is, who needs it, what it costs in time and money, and whether it arrives as an instant update or needs a new build of the app. Some extras need a small native piece that Expo Go can't show; those steps say so and point to Part 12 (developer accounts and testing) for your own development build. Then comes the complete message to send, the check, and the things that went wrong in a real build so they don't go wrong in yours.

The Apple-only extras (Lock Screen live updates and widgets, an Apple Watch app, Siri) are marked Advanced and show only to iPhone readers. The last three (in-person card payments, a shop inside the app, working without internet) are advanced because they touch money or need testing in the real world.
