Build your card app: your collection

From the first screen to a working collection app on your phone: exact printings, real card data, search, values, a card page, wishlists, sealed products and slabs, plus a name, an icon, help and a way to report problems.

Your first screen shows two made-up cards. By the end of this part the app holds your real collection: you search a real card catalog, add cards as exact printings with condition and quantity, see a value for each one and a total, open a card page with its history, keep a wishlist, work through a set, and track sealed products and graded slabs. Then you give it a name and an icon, a help button on every screen, the right moment to ask for the camera, and a Report a problem button. All of it lives on your phone for now; the server, accounts and licensed prices come in Parts 8 to 10.

Every step gives you the complete message to send. Where a collection tracker, a seller's app and a shop's app need different things, the step gives you one message for each; pick yours, copy it, and change any word later. The order matters: each step builds on the last, so go in order and run the check at the end of each one.

The messages describe one way that works, not the only way, and not a copy of any real app. Each feature step ends with a "Make it yours" tip: ready-made changes you can send as they are, and an open message for anything else you want.
